Do you think whether quotas in IITs and IIMs are necessary?

Do you really think whether reservations should be implemented in IITs and IIMs. Well i really dont think so. Only when people are recognized based upon their capability and talents countries like India, or any country for that matter, will produce prominent scientists and great scholars. The reason why the number of people who were involved in either discovery or invention in India is low is because many are not recognized. The parents of the child decide what the child has to study in India, where as in most of the other countries its the child who decides. For those who work ,their work should be a passion and not just a work. And this can be achieved only if they are left with a job of their own interest. தமிழ்ல ஒன்னு சொல்லுவாங்க ... கஷ்டப்பட்டு செய்யாம இஷ்டப்பட்டு செய்யனும்னு॥
and thats what is needed for the hour. People who really deserves to be in IIMs and IITs should be given chance rather than giving these kind of nonsensical quotas and reservations. Me being a SC guy, i really dont accept these kind of reservations. I am sure that the quality of IIMs and IITs is going to get down in the future.
